If you want to go for a soft reset option, you should know that this will not erase files, so you can easily prompt the procedure without having to make a backup. There are two main ways to get this done – by removing and reinserting the battery from its slot and turning the phone on, but also by doing as follows:

- Wait for the phone to restart and use it as before.

- Wait for the menu to be loaded and release all of them.
- Choose Wipe Data using Volume keys and Power.
- Similarly, select Yes and wait for the following options to load.
- Press Power to confirm the Reboot and wait for the restart.
