How to restore the HTC Explorer A310
We didn’t tell you about this yet, but you should know that restoring the HTC Explorer to original settings will wipe all the data stored on it. Therefore, the first step that needs to be taken is saving all important information. To make a backup of the data, all that needs to be done is download the Phone Copy application that is specially designed for the Android OS.
The hard reset keys placed on the chassis of the phone can be used in order to reboot the device. As you can see in the image to your right, these ones are easy to find on the upper side of the phone and the right one, as shown in the video below:
- Turn your phone off, remove the battery and re-insert it.
- Simultaneously press and hold Volume Down and Power keys for a while, then release the Power button and keep holding the Volume key until the Recovery Menu pops up.
- Choose the Factory Reset option using the Volume keys and confirm with the Power button.
- The phone will now be rebooting and erasing all data; wait until the process ends.
