Celkon A35k Remote Dual SIM Master Restore

Celkon A35k Remote Dual SIM was announced in June 2015 and the phone was available for sale from the moment it was announced. It features a 3.5 inches capacitive touchscreen with more than 16 million colors. The resolution of the display is 320 x 480(~ 165 pixel density). The processor of the smartphone is a Single-core 1 GHz; Spreadtrum 7731 while the graphic processor is Mali-400. The phone has internal memory of 16 GB and 2 GB of RAM . The smartphone comes with Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat). Even if it was designed to work at an optimal level, as any tech product on the market, it might need a hard reset process to bring it back to its original state.

While the soft or master reset process is meant to recover the integrity of the phone, resetting also helps when you wish to sell it, mainly because it will wipe every bit of private information from the internal memory. This includes contacts, pictures, videos, music and other multimedia file types as well. So, before proceeding, make sure that you have created a back-up to restore files at the end. Before we jump into the ‘how-to’, here are a few advantages and disadvantages of your handset of which you might be willing to take note for your future experience:

Here is the first method to bring back your device to a functional state and get it up and running without problems:

  1.  From the main screen, you have to select Settings.
  2.  From the Settings menu, you will have to choose the ‘Back up & Reset’ icon.
  3.  Click on ‘Factory data reset’.
  4.  Choose Ok and wait for the device to reboot.

The second method uses the hardware buttons and works when the phone is unresponsive and you can`t access the menu of the device. Make sure you have the battery charged because if the phone turns off unexpectedly during the process, your device may be affected. Now you can try the following steps:

  1. Turn off your device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Down key, the Home button and the Power button.
  3. Your phone will reboot in Recovery mode. Use the Volume buttons to navigate in the menu and the Power button to select an option.
  4. Using the Volume button, navigate to the ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ option and select it using the Power key.
  5. The process will end with the message ‘Data Wipe Complete’.
  6. Wait for your phone to reboot.
