Also known under the name of Acer Liquid E Ferrari, the Acer E S100 is easy to hard reset. This article is going to take you through the main methods and steps to follow whenever your phone is unresponsive, or you think you’re dealing with software bugs. This one is also a useful procedure to use when the phone takes a long time to power on, or you forgot the PIN code.
Before moving any further with the instructions, you should be aware of the effects of the master reset on your phone. As you might already know, this will bring the device back to factory state, which means that all data stored on its memory will be erased. This is done in order to make sure that all viruses have been eliminated, but it is, however, important that you save all files before proceeding.
To get familiar with this type of Acer, you should know that it runs of Android, as most similar phones – what is interesting, though, is that it uses v2.1 (Éclair), which can be easily upgraded to v2.2 (Froyo).
